Mike Wilson

Mike Wilson has spent the last 20 years helping automate data-driven workflow and business processes for the entertainment, banking, and medical industries. Most recently he served as Head of Software Development for the Santa Monica based Method studios and previously served as the Principal Engineer for the Systems & Database Group of Sony Pictures Imageworks for eight years where he architected a majority of the studios visual effects production pipeline.  Mike is also a certified Oracle DBA and currently has an independent consulting practice, Predicate Logic, based in Culver City, California specializing in helping startups build geographic enabled-web and e-commerce applications.

Yan Xin


Yan Xin

Yan started his career as a computer artist and has been the head designer in leading Advertisement Companies in China.  He was among the first generation of professional in digital graphic and multimedia Industry in China. During that period he explored the great potential at the nexus of art and technology in digital era.  Yan holds a Computer Science graduate from Concordia University, Montreal, with his 2nd degree majoring in Computational Art, Yan entered into 3D film animation and VFX industry in Montreal.

 

Andre Bastien
André Bastien

After completing studies in graphic design and in 3d animation / visual effects, André worked for 6 years at Ubisoft Digital Arts. He started lighting and creating textures for the cinematic of Splinter Cell 3 and Prince of Persia 2. The year after, he started developing tools during production down-time to train himself as an assistant TD on productions such as Assassins Creed Lineage web-episodes and the Predators movie. He is now working on the integration of third-party applications into Dux Labs' pipeline management tool.
Serguei Lapine


Serguei Lapine


Serguei Lapine is a software developer and applied mathematician. Ph.D. in mathematics from Moscow Lomonosov State University. Worked in research and software development in Moscow, Russia. Since 1998, Serguei is living in Montreal, Canada. He was working at Softimage, Digits'n Arts (developer of 3Delight), Ubisoft, Lumiere Video Effects and Dux Labs since May 2010.  Serguei's main areas of experience: solving complicated mathematical problems, algorithmization, image and video processing, object-oriented design and programming.
